Ray and Anne's house is a delight - a beautiful Scandinavian style refurbishment in a lovely and peaceful location. The interior is like new and the quality is high. There is a beautiful kitchen and bathroom and a large lounge with wood burning stove for snug evenings in. We spent a great week exploring the surrounds by bike - there are numerous quite roads and trails. We ate in mostly, because the house was so good, but if you'd like to eat out we thoroughly recommend Dornoch for quality dining at lunch or in the evenings. Although we visited in the summer, this would also be a lovely place to bunker down in the winter. Ray and Anne were great hosts, quickly responding to any question we had. We can't recommend enough! “The house is located in an idyllic countryside”
This house is basically everything you could wish for in a holiday location: it is beautifully furnished; everything is clean and very new. There is enough space to eat or just sit around inside in the open dining room and the lovely living room with the comfortable couches and chairs as well as outside, if the weather plays along. The kitchen contains all the things you need to cook dinner for a family. The house is located in an idyllic countryside, you have a beautiful view and it’s very peaceful. Furthermore the contact with the host was really friendly and uncomplicated.

The cottage has been recently redecorated and offers a sweet and warm home in the scottish countryside. It is ideally situated for starting a journey to the northern Highlands or central Scotland. We highly appreciated the peacefulness and quietness of this house!
